An island girl at heart, Simone was born in Jamaica and grew up on Long Island in New York. She comes from a lineage of great cooks, and learned to appreciate quality and flavor at an early age. Simone started to experiment in the kitchen as a curious teenager trying to recreate all the foods she grew up eating.
Realizing that cooking was not only a passion, but a “calling” Simone decided to make it a career and enrolled to Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC. Gradating in 2015, her culinary curiosities can now have all her attention.
